MY EXPERIENCE
WHO I AM
It all started with my love of Bugs Bunny and Walt Disney. Doodles, drawings and cartoons filled my day and many of my notebooks. When I wasn’t running around the bases, playing Pop Warner or jumping my bike off of home-made ramps, I was drawing.
My doodles never became the next Bart Simpson but they did birth my interest in art. Along the way I designed t-shirts for my sports teams, posters for friend’s bands and pursue a degree in Magazine Publishing. It was an interesting mix of writing, art and business but unfortunately Ithaca College preferred I stick with a course of study they already had. Corporate Communications Design it was.
WHAT I KNOW
A jack-of-all-trades. I am experienced in a variety of applications and confident in my ability to adapt and learn new tools as they become available. Expertise is in the eye of the beholder (client) but my strongest skill sets include:

MY SKILLS
What makes a graphic designer? Making cool things is only part of it. While an artist is free to create without restrictions, a graphic designer is a problem solver. Bound by budgets and timelines. I am not just an artist. I am a graphic designer.
I embrace the challenges of boundaries. Every project has restrictions. A truly creative approach is processing something so it comes out different than how it went in.
Creativity with your voice is the goal. My job is to find a style and approach that works for your project… not make something that looks like “me.” Being flexible lets me do my best.
Not a skill many creatives claim. Structure and Organization is not only key to developing strong UX/UI systems but it’s essential for managing projects and data.
Working hard is part of my DNA. Maybe it’s how my parents raised me, or my competitive nature, but I will not quite until the goal is reached. I get things done. I will do the same for you.
